Fellas. Today I wanna talk about box presence.
When you’re walking up to the plate we all need to start having the mentality of “This pitcher is mine. I’m ending his career right here. He won’t wanna play baseball after this game” when you step into the box you are looking to embarrass to the dude on the mound. Because he is trying to the do the same exact thing to you. The mound and the box are two islands. It is a war when you step in and we do not lose the war. We will battle and battle and battle. We do not give in. Have the mentality of being an absolute dawg in the box. There is no better definition to a baseball player then a “gamer”. Those are the dudes who have that mentality. Who don’t give up at bats. Who stay locked in every single pitch. Being a “gamer” doesn’t start on game day. It’s a way of life saying that I’m a stud and I’m gonna let everybody know how good I am through the way I go about my business.
