5 months agoHitting Group Why finishing with 1 hand could be potentially better for you than 2 hands. So when you look at big leaguers finish do you see a 1 hand or 2 hand finish? The answer is both fellas. I’ve talked to a lot of hitters who have different preferences. Some guys like to train 1 hand finish then go to 2 in the game. It is important to play around with these different feels. When finishing with 1 hand I try to “get to the pimp spot” when I’m training. I also feel that I can backspin balls to the pull side gap a lot easier. This example of Trea Turner constantly runs thru my head. Mess around with a 1 hand finish next time you guys are in the cage!
