• Another really good drill I’ve been loving is this weighted bat and connection ball drill. This drill I am set up in my normal stance while also having my front foot elevated to have that “hover” feel when I lift. As soon as a I start my move I am looking to control my front foot and land in a balanced 50/50 position. Side note: I also have that band on my back knee to really emphasize getting into that back hip and staying behind the ball. But back to my upper half. When I can control a heavy bat thru the zone for a long time then I will be able to get a normal bat in the zone for a long time. A heavy bat feels like it’s rolling off my shoulder and right into the zone. If you guys have any questions about what I talked about or want some more specific drills dm me!!
